It’s America’s favourite sandwich filling, so why not try it and see what we’re missing out on!

To celebrate National Peanut Butter & Jelly Day (jelly is simply jam in the UK) on April 2, the whole family can enjoy the yummy taste and versatility of America’s finest smooth and creamy SKIPPY® Peanut Butter, which is now widely available in the UK and a great source of protein.

Classic SKIPPY® Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich

  • 3tbsp SKIPPY® Peanut Butter Smooth or Extra Crunchy
  • 3tbsp strawberry jam
  • 2 slices wholegrain bread, toasted
  • Apples and Grapes to garnish
  1. Spread strawberry jam on one side of one bread slice.
  2. Spread peanut butter on one side of remaining bread slice. Press together.
  3. Garnish with fresh fruit and serve.

Or if you want a real adventurous American favourite, try this one!

SKIPPY® Peanut Butter and Chipotle Jelly Sandwich

Jam, peanut butter and chipotle sandwich

  • 3tbsp SKIPPY® Peanut Butter Smooth or Extra Crunchy
  • 3tbsp strawberry jam
  • 1tsp chipotle cooking paste or salsa
  • 2 slices whole-granary bread, toasted 
  1. Mix strawberry jam and chipotle cooking paste or salsa in a bowl. Spread mixture on one side of one bread slice.
  2. Spread peanut butter on one side of remaining bread slice. Press together and enjoy!
