The trend for patterned floors has continued to grow and small rooms are often the starting point for many, as people look to let their imaginations run wild in “less risk” areas of the home. Whether that’s revisiting older style patterns such as herringbone or monochrome checkerboard or experimenting with colour and contemporary design, homeowners seem to be embracing pattern and using if cleverly in small spaces to create the feel of a larger room.
