How can something so sweet and creamy be so good for you? With protein-packed nut butters, Omega 3-rich flaxseed, raspberry and banana, these three gorgeous popsicle recipes from Linwoods Health Foods are surely the ultimate guilt-free summer treats!
Preparation Time: 10min (for each recipe) + freezing
Serves: 3-4 (each recipe)
- For your chosen recipe, add all the ingredients to a blender and blitz until smooth.
- Spoon the blend into your popsicle moulds, tapping the mould on a hard surface as you go to remove any air bubbles.
- Insert your sticks and pop into the freezer. You may need to go back after 10min to straighten your sticks if they have fallen sideways.
- Freeze until hard.
- Once you’re ready to eat, add your favourite toppings/decorations – eg. cacao sauce, nut butter, crushed nuts, chia seeds or freeze-dried raspberry pieces. The sauce and nut butter will freeze into another layer on contact with the popsicle, so be sure to add your sprinkles quickly before they solidify.
