It’s time for the second cosy instalment of My Weekly’s Magical Flying Bookshop – your feel-good fiction podcast, sponsored by Pavers.

I know What You've Done coverDorothy Koomson is known as “The Queen Of The Big Reveal”, and we can’t wait to find out more about her latest unputdownable thriller as we chat in our podcast!

I Know What You’ve Done is Dorothy’s 17th book, a twisted and addictive story that centres around Rae who lives in a upmarket area of Brighton. When one of Rae’s neighbours, Priscilla, turns up on her doorstep, near to death after being attacked, it soon becomes clear that the inhabitants of the street are hiding many secrets – and it seems some of the comings and goings are included in a diary which Priscilla thrusts into Rae’s hands. Should Rae hand over the diary to the police – or try to find out more herself?

Listen to our podcast as Dorothy sets the scene by reading the dramatic opening pages of the book before going on to a give us an insight into how she works out her plots and why the endings of her books are not always what the reader is expecting!

If you’re looking for a great book to pop on your Christmas list, this one will certainly have you hooked – and Dorothy also recommends another great book from a fellow author. Find out more in the latest edisode of our podcast!

What’s the format of the show?

Our show is split into three sections – Reading Corner, where the author reads an exclusive short story, or a passage from their latest book; Quiz The Author, where we ask the questions you want answered and Book Post, the author picks a new release that’s not one of their own books, but a hotly-tipped title they’d recommend.

Can readers get involved by suggesting future authors to include in the series, or asking questions?

Absolutely, we’d love to hear your suggestions for authors for Series 2, and we’d be delighted to ask the participants the questions you want answered! Look out for our podcast recording dates on My Weekly’s social media channels, and submit your questions in plenty of time. We’ll ask the writers to answer a selection during our recording. Type your question and email it to flyingbookshop@myweekly.co.uk, or record your voice on your phone and add the audio clip to the email. We can then play your questions during the podcast. Don’t forget to put the words “podcast” and whatever author the question is for in the subject header – and please include your name on the email, too. Or, if you would prefer to phone, leave a message on 01382 575486, including your question, the author’s name, and your name. We’ll be speaking to Stacey Halls soon – send your questions now!
