Of his choice of print for the collaboration, which draws upon natural forms such as plants, flowers and pineapples, Christian Lacroix said, “These are patterns created from historical or ethnic archives, my two sources of inspiration which, by their mirror-like symmetrical design, softened by curves, should not only protect the body but also flatter the silhouette.”
Damart is known for its textile expertise, particularly its thermal “Thermolactyl” fabric, and has incorporated a thermal lining into the coat, combining warmth and comfort with effortless style.
