It’s that time of year again where we crown the Christmas number one! Who’s fighting for top spot this year?

The Official Charts Company has just released their list of Christmas number one contenders and there are so many sparkling entries, but which star will top the 2023 Christmas chart tree?

A strong community of 30 people have come together to release a cover of this popular Wizzard classic. 100% of profits raised will be donated to the Trussell Trust to support a network of 1400 food banks, providing a food and essentials parcel every 8 seconds this winter.

British singer-songwriter Sam Ryder, best known for his Eurovision SPACE MAN performance, has released a Christmas song. His consistently cheery disposition fits perfectly within the festive genre.

 

I Love Christmastime by The Gleeman

This charity single is raising awareness for War Child and spotlighting the ongoing war in Ukraine. The song features the Kyiv-based Shchedryk Children’s Choir.

 

Stick Season by Noah Kahan

Noah Kahan has been going viral with this sombre song. It grieves a lost love and wallows in the waves of nostalgia that arise at Christmastime. It was never intended to be a Christmas song, but the public have kept it in the charts in time for a possible Christmas number one spot.
